Right in time for the Gamescom 2010 browser games provider Nekki is presenting its third game: In "IceKings", German and English speaking ice hockey fans can from now on chase the puck in competition with many thousands of fellow players all around the clock.
The release of "Icekings" is happening exactly one year after the publication of Nekki's football manager "11x11", which could already captivate over 600,000 Europeans in this short time span!

Similar to "11x11" the turbulent job of a manager is authentically and excitingly displayed: How do I create a top-team and achieve national as well as international success? Is my tactics the right one, is my team lineup correct? Which ice hockey stars could improve my team? Is my stadium big enough for top team encounters? Every manager of an ice hockey team in "IceKings" has to find the right answers to these kinds of questions, and his or her ideal strategy.

"IceKings" runs in a browser window (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox), exactly like the football manager "11x11", and therefore neither an installation nor high performance hardware are required. "IceKings" provides many features that can only be realized in a MMOG (massive multiplayer online game), like mega tournaments with up to 256 players at the same time or an international player-to-player transfer market.

In order to keep the planned release date in time for the Gamescom 2010, a live-view-mode for the encounters is initially not yet available. It will be supplied in a few weeks, after the completion of the beta phase. Ice hockey fans, though, should not wait for that, but create their own ice hockey team right now: because those who join a MMOG in the beginning phase, will later – when a bulk of players register –belong to the victorious and experienced "old hands"!
